Cores and Returns
General Returns
Please fill out the PRODUCT RETURN FORM prior to returning an item. Upon receipt, a Parts Specialist will contact you to continue the process. Please note that items cannot be returned without prior approval. All returns not the fault of H&R Construction Parts & Equipment, Inc. (HRCP) are subject to a restocking fee of 20 percent of the purchase price.
Complete Return FormCore Returns
Specific products require a core to be returned. Customers that return product cores completely assembled and in rebuildable condition will be credited back the full amount of the core deposit stated on the customer's original invoice.

All Product core returns must meet the criteria set forth in this document. We retain the right to change or modify these criteria at any time.
- Core must be returned within 30 calendar days from the invoice date.
- Please allow 10-15 business days for the core evaluation to be completed before credit is issued.
- Return freight charges will be covered when the customer uses the designated carrier provided by the company. Any unauthorized freight charges will be deducted from the refundable core deposit.
- A Bill of Lading (BOL) will be provided, and the core must be shipped using the designated carrier. Customers are responsible for properly palletizing and securing the core, and for ensuring it is loaded onto the carrier’s vehicle. Product cores received with fabricated steel stands must be returned on that stand or a fee of $500.00 will be deducted from the product core deposit.
- All oil ports must be plugged as they were on the original product received by the customer. All fluids must be drained before returning the product core.
- All cores must be returned in the time allotted (30 days) and must be complete, assembled, and repairable, otherwise fees will apply. Core fees are as follows:
- 100% core credit returned if:
- The core is complete, rebuildable, and completely assembled.
- The main components are rebuildable.
- 50% core credit returned if:
- Massive failures leave some major components unusable.
- 0% core credit returned if:
- Catastrophic failures leave the component unusable or rebuildable.
- The core is returned without parts or disassembled.
- 100% core credit returned if:
- Customers may request the return of any product core valued at 0%. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
- The company reserves the right to amend or modify the terms and criteria set forth in this policy at any time, without prior notice.
