Primary Job Responsibilities
- Develop, and submit for approval, an annual strategy and plan, identifying how current and new customers will be targeted and managed, along with projected growth objectives
- Develop, and submit for approval, weekly plans detailing primary target customers (e.g. partners) and secondary customers
- Work with sales in all branches to identify customers to target and who to talk to during each trip
- Provide a call summary report (using a standard template)
- Provide feedback to salespeople, based on customers visited
- Research and identify prospects and continue to develop relationship and sales
- Lever internal resources such as Marketing Department, inside sales reps, etc
- Achieve defined sales goals for all customers, as defined in the Business Plan for that year
- Identify potential purchase of 'For Sale' or 'For Dismantling' machines
- In compliance with the Corporate Purchasing process and policy
Reports to: Division Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years actual H&R (or other) outside sales experience with selling used construction equipment parts, preferred
- Solid sales and relationship development experience, able to demonstrate a command of the sales process, personal organization, planning and reporting skills
- Ability to work with internal resources to advance the goal
- Demonstrated ability to grow sales annually
- Demonstrated ability to identify prospects and turn them into sustainable customers
