Job Description:

We are looking for a creative, passionate, and driven individual that can help shape the way we communicate with our customers and our communities. From creating compelling content which attracts attention, telling our story, and connecting with customers, this digital-savvy person will bring H&R's message to the masses.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
  • Concept, create and edit engaging content for audiences and channels across paid, organic, social, and direct sources.
  • Plan, develop, and execute national digital programs and campaigns, including online advertising, website strategy and design, social media, mobile, and deliverables
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization
  • Develop new ideas to continually improve our internal and external communications and shared understanding of H&R’s vision, mission and strategy
  • Develop strong understanding of our target audiences, including what types of content they want to consume and how they want to consume it
  • Ensure that high-quality content, standards and best practices are maintained across platforms
  • Maintain content and content libraries and facilitate content collaboration, content updates, and content organization

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

  • Undergraduate degree candidate in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working knowledge of digital marketing
  • Demonstrable understanding of SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Digitally-savvy: understands changing social landscape; identifies new communications channels to engage and inform
  • Understanding of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Basic graphic design skills required (Photoshop and Illustrator); video editing skills a plus (Adobe Premiere)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date understanding of the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects with competing demands to meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team
  • Aptitude to learn H&R's product line and capabilities
  • Capacity to exercise good judgment while making decisions in accordance with established rules, policies and procedures
  • Ability to take direction as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Availability to work 40 hours between business hours, 8 AM -4:30 PM EST

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
